Yiping Ke

Yiping Ke serves as Managing Director for China, based in Seoul, South Korea, and Shanghai, China. Working from the AIP-Dreamstone JV platform, he oversees aircraft financing and investments across China, Japan, and South Korea.

With over 20 years of experience in the aviation industry, Yiping has amassed extensive expertise in aircraft procurement, leasing, delivery, trading, and financing. His career spans roles with airlines, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), and lessors, providing him with a well-rounded industry perspective.

Prior to joining AIP, Yiping held the role of Executive Director and Head of Structured Finance & Trading at CMIG Aviation Capital, where he was a founding team member from January 2017. He also served as a Board Member of CMIG Aviation Capital Ireland. Earlier, he worked briefly at Ping An International Financial Leasing (Aviation Division) as Director of Trading and spent nearly four years at Bocomm Leasing as Senior Trading Manager.

Before transitioning to leasing, Yiping was Contracts Delivery Manager at the Airbus (Tianjin) Delivery Centre, where he managed the delivery of newly assembled Airbus aircraft to Chinese customers.

Yiping began his career in 2005 at Shenzhen Airlines’ Fleet Planning Office, later joining Shanghai Juneyao Airlines’ Fleet Planning Office to lead fleet strategy and aircraft acquisition initiatives. He subsequently joined Airbus in 2011.

He holds an M.S. in Traffic Information Engineering & Control and a B.S. in Commercial Aircraft and Engine Engineering, both from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
