James Lundy

James Lundy serves as General Counsel and is responsible for all legal affairs of Witt Lake. Mr. Lundy has 30 years of experience as a general counsel and transactional attorney and four years of experience as a certified public accountant. Prior to Witt Lake, Mr. Lundy had previously serves as the general counsel for a New York-based asset management firm and Syncora Holdings Ltd., a Bermuda-based holding company and its financial guarantee insurance company subsidiary, Syncora Guarantee Inc. Prior to serving as General Counsel of Syncora Guarantee Inc., Mr. Lundy was a structured finance attorney at Thacher Proffitt & Wood LLP. Mr. Lundy’s experience includes private credit, structured finance, advising boards of directors and management teams, restructurings, workouts, litigation management, reinsurance, M&A, and insurance regulatory.

Mr. Lundy holds a Master of Laws (in Taxation) from New York University School of Law, a Juris Doctor, from New York Law School, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Pace University. Mr. Lundy is licensed to practice law in New York and Connecticut and is a certified public accountant (inactive) in New York and is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
