Jared Ailstock

Mr. Ailstock serves as Managing Partner of AIP Capital LLC. He oversees the finance, business development, and marketing verticals of AIP and sits on the board of AIP Capital LLC and AIP Capital Limited in Ireland. He also sits on the board of Dreamstone Aviation Partners, a Joint venture in South Korea where AIP Capital LLC is a minority shareholder. Mr. Ailstock has over 15 years of aviation, transportation and broader financial services experience, including sourcing new investment opportunities and investment financing.

Prior to co-founding AIP in January 2023, he served as Managing Director, Business Development & Capital Markets at Castlelake LP, a global alternative investment firm. Prior to Castlelake, he held positions in structured finance at both Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse in New York leading ABS and EETC teams on both airline and aircraft lessor transactions.

Mr. Ailstock received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan. He is on the board of the Children’s Medical Research Foundation, the US affiliate of a Dublin based charity that seeks to improve the health and well-being of children and their families affected by childhood disease and illness. Jared is also on the Leadership Committee of Student Sponsor Partners, a New York City based charity which seeks to improve the quality of high school education and mentorship for inner city students.
