John Gildea serves as a Technical Manager in AIP Capital Dublin, Ireland. He has over six years’ experience working in the aviation industry.
Prior to joining AIP, Mr. Gildea was employed at Santos Dumont, holding several roles, most recently as Technical Project Manager. Here he worked on long-term redelivery projects, both on behalf of accepting and returning airlines. Mr. Gildea has experience in repossessions, pre-purchase, and mid-term inspections. He also spent nine months on secondment to Castlelake, an aircraft lessor, working closely with their technical department supporting day-to-day operations, technical asset management and other ad hoc technical projects.
Mr. Gildea holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Limerick.
